The power light will illuminate when the mains switch is set to ON.
Connect headphones to this 1/4″ jack for silent practice. The Speaker Output is bypassed/muted when the headphone jack is in use.
Connect external devices (laptop, mp3 player etc.) to the Aux In socket via an audio cable with a 3.5mm jack plug.
Audio is summed to Mono.
Use a quality shielded instrument cable to connect your instrument to the Input jack socket.
Connect to a speaker cabinet rated at 8 Ohms or higher. Always use a dedicated speaker cable (not an instrument cable).
A 4 Ohm load can be connected but may cause the amplifier to overheat if used for prolonged periods at high volumes. In this case the amp should be switched off and allowed to cool.
If the Headphone jack is not in use, a suitable speaker cabinet must be connected at all times during use.
Use only the power adapter supplied with the Micro Terror.
Preamp: 1 x ECC83/12AX7
The Micro Terror is a global phenomenon. Taking its inspiration from the original Tiny Terror, this miniature incarnation couples a valve preamp to a solid state output section for enormous tones that makes a mockery of its pint-sized frame.
Weighing in at under 1 kilo, the Micro Terror is arguably the most portable amp head on the market. When paired with its matching PPC108 cabinet, the Micro Terror’s Aux Input and Headphone output make it a perfect practice partner, small enough for even the most cluttered sideboard.
However, don’t be fooled by its miniature footprint because size is the only thing that is small about this amp. With a high tensile steel casing, the Micro Terror is built to the same high standards as the rest of the Terror family and features a single 12AX7/ECC83 preamp valve, coupled to a solid state output section. The depth of sound (and volume) that this little thing pushes out is truly staggering, with Orange growl and bite in abundance. What’s more, the Micro Terror can be used with any 8-16 Ohm speaker cabinet
Modelled around the original lunchbox amplifier, the Tiny Terror. The Micro Terror is the original micro amplifier.
Helps to bring unparalleled levels of dynamics and tone for an amplifier of this size.
More than capable of powering our largest 4 speaker cabinet, the PPC412. It’s compatible with any cab with 8 ohm or greater power handling.
Plugin any phone or audio player to jam along to songs making this a great amplifier to practise with.
It’s basically a downscale version of the Tiny Terror – the original lunchbox amp. It’s one of the most perfect home practise amps that we’ve ever made.
