Websites like ours often use a cookie from Facebook called ‘Facebook Pixel’ to better serve adverts to you on their platform. For example, if you have visited gear on our website orangeamps.com you may be more likely to be displayed a linked product advert on Facebook. No personally identifiable data such as your name, address is shared from Orange to Facebook during this process.

10. Where your personal data may be processed

Sometimes we will need to share your personal data with third parties and suppliers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such as Australia or the USA.

International orders
If you are based outside the UK and place an order with us, we will transfer the personal data that we collect from you to OMEC Ltd.

Protecting your data outside the EEA
The EEA includes all EU Member countries as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. We may transfer personal data that we collect from you to third-party data processors in countries that are outside the EEA.

For all non-UK customers

Warranty Terms & Conditions of our products (excluding USA)

What is covered

Orange Music Electronic Company Limited (OMEC Ltd.) (We) warrants that Orange Products purchased through an Authorised Dealer will be free from defects in parts and workmanship for an initial period of 1 year (365 days) from the date of purchase. This initial 1 year Warranty applies to the original purchaser (You) and is non-transferable. This Warranty shall be applicable when You present the Product along with the original sales receipt and/or proof of purchase to the Authorised Dealer from whom the Product was purchased.

What is not covered

  • Damage caused by negligence, abuse, modification, improper use, incorrect voltages, incorrect polarity or the use of power supplies not recommended by OMEC Ltd.
  • Damage caused by another product.
  • Reasonable wear and tear.
  • Damage caused during transportation of the Product.
  • Damage caused by repair or service carried out by persons not authorised by OMEC Ltd.
  • A Product with a serial number which has been defaced, removed etc.
  • A Product which was not purchased from an Authorised Orange Dealer or Distributor.
  • Items listed herein outside the Warranty Period (see Warranty Period).

Warranty Period

This Warranty shall be effective from the date of purchase and cover the following Products and components for a period of:

  • Amplifiers, preamplifiers, effects pedals – 1 year, extendable* to 2 years;
  • Speaker enclosures (cabinets) – 1 year, extendable* to 2 years;
  • Valves (vacuum tubes) and Speakers in Orange Products or supplied by OMEC Ltd. – 90 days.

*The Extended Warranty Period is only applicable if the correct Registration form is submitted prior to the expiry of the initial 1 year Warranty which begins on the date of purchase. It is Your responsibility to submit this information correctly and We shall not be liable nor do We accept any responsibility whatsoever for non-receipt of this information. For customers outside the UK, the details and availability of the Extended Warranty Period may vary. Subject to consumer protection laws in the country of purchase and our Authorised Distributor’s terms and conditions, an additional year may be added to the initial 1 year Warranty. Please consult the Authorised Distributor in your region/area for full Extended Warranty Period terms.

Free Extended Warranty Period

For Customers Outside the UK (excluding USA):

Subject to consumer protection laws in the country of purchase and our Authorised Distributor’s terms and conditions, an additional year may be added to the initial 1 year Warranty, in accordance with the stipulations indicated in the Warranty Period section above. Please consult the Authorised Distributor in your country/area for full Extended Warranty Period terms. The terms of the Warranty Service are unaffected. Where an Authorised Distributor offers an Extended Warranty Period, it shall only be applicable when You complete the correct Registration form, to be submitted prior to the expiry of the initial 1 year Warranty, which begins on the date of purchase.

UK Customers:

OMEC Ltd. agrees to extend the initial 1 year Warranty Period by a further year at no charge, in accordance with the stipulations indicated in the Warranty Period section above, providing You complete and submit the correct Registration form prior to the expiry of the initial 1 year Warranty which begins at the date of purchase from an Authorised Orange Dealer. The terms of the Warranty Service are unaffected.

The Warranty Service

For Customers Outside the UK (excluding the USA):

What you need to do to obtain the Warranty Service

You must present the defective Product to the Authorised Orange Dealer from whom the Product was purchased, together with a copy of your original sales receipt or a proof of purchase. The terms of arrangement for returning the defective Product to the Authorised Orange Dealer are agreed between You and the Authorised Orange Dealer at the time of sale. For avoidance of doubt, consult the Authorised Orange Dealers’ warranty terms and conditions prior to making your purchase.

Exclusions

• Our liability for any defective Product, save for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, is limited to the Warranty Services which shall be provided to you at our sole discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, we reserve the right to refuse you provision of the Warranty Service if (a) you are unable to provide the original sales receipt or proof of purchase; and/or (b) we have reasons to believe that you have not directly purchased the Products from any of our authorised dealers.
• Notwithstanding the Warranty Services and the provisions set out herein, we shall not be liable for any claims or damages in contract or tort or otherwise for any loss (whether direct or indirect) of profit, business, revenue, anticipated savings, damage to any other equipment or other items at the site of use, or any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever.

WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS OF OUR PRODUCTS

WHAT IS COVERED

Orange Music Electronic Company Inc. (Orange USA) warrants that Orange Products purchased through an Authorised Dealer of Orange USA will be free from defects in parts and workmanship for an initial period of 1 year (365 days) from the date of purchase.

This Warranty shall be applicable when You present the Product along with the original sales receipt and/or proof of purchase.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

  • Damage caused by negligence, abuse, modification, improper use, incorrect voltages, incorrect polarity or the use of power supplies not recommended by Orange USA.
  • Damage caused by another product.
  • General wear and tear.
  • Damage caused during transportation of the product.
  • Damage caused by repair or service carried out by persons not authorized by Orange USA.
  • A Product with a serial number which has been defaced, removed etc.
  • A Product which was not purchased from an Authorized Dealer within the USA

WARRANTY PERIOD

This Warranty shall be effective from the date of purchase and cover the following Products and components for a period of:

• Amplifiers, preamplifiers, effects pedals – 1 year, extendable* to 2 years
• Speaker enclosures (cabinets) – 1 year, extendable* to 2 years
• Valves (vacuum tubes) and Speakers in Orange Products or supplied by OMEC Ltd. – 90 days

*The Extended Warranty Period is only applicable if the USA Registration form is submitted prior to the expiry of the initial 1 year warranty which begins at the date of purchase. It is Your responsibility to submit this information and We shall not be liable nor do We accept any responsibility whatsoever for non-receipt of this information.

If a warranty or RMA claim is made within 90 days of the purchase date of the Product, Orange USA pays ground shipping both ways.

If a warranty or RMA claim is made between 91 and 365 days (pending a 2nd year warranty extension) after the purchase date, the customer pays shipping to Orange USA and Orange USA pays return ground shipping.  However, to qualify for Orange USA to pay for shipping, it has to be a valid Product defect, as covered by the terms and conditions of the warranty, and not an oversight or user error.

For non-warranty repairs, the customer pays shipping both ways.  Repair charges must be paid within 45 days of the repair completion or the Product becomes the property of Orange USA.

THE WARRANTY SERVICE:

• The Warranty Service may include repairs or replacement of the Product in accordance with the terms set out herein.
• We will endeavour to repair the defective Product at no cost.
• If we are unable to repair the defective Product, we reserve the right to provide you with a replacement which may or may not be a reconditioned unit.

• Providing the defective Product is covered by the terms of this Warranty we shall be responsible for the cost of returning your unit to You.

  • The terms under this Warranty do not affect your statutory rights in respect of your defective Products.
  • This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with US Law.

ORANGE PROFESSIONAL CABLES LIMITED LIFETIME GUARANTEE:

  • Orange Music Electronic Company Ltd (OMEC) guarantees its cables against any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
  • This guarantee does not cover cosmetic defects caused by use of the product.
  • OMEC will repair or replace, at its discretion, any defective cable.
  • This Guarantee is your exclusive remedy for defective products and is solely for the benefit of the original purchaser.
  • This guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper use, accident, solvents, modifications caused by use with other equipment of any other external causes.
  • OMEC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS OR INJURY OF ANY NATURE INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, EVEN IF OMEC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
  • EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THIS GUARANTEE, OMEC MAKES NO OTHER GUARANTEE’S, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY GUARANTEES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
  • IF THE LIMITATIONS CONTAINED HEREIN ARE FOR ANY REASON DETERMINED TO BE INVALID, THEN OMEC LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT.
  • UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL OMEC BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT.

Terms & Conditions of our guitars

Orange guitars are guaranteed against defects in materials, components and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, subject to the conditions and limitations stated herein. The following items are not covered by this Warranty:
1. Wearing of fret wire, saddles, nut, strings or depletion of batteries (tuner).
2. Any action that can be considered ‘routine maintenance’, including, but not limited to: setup, intonation adjustment, fret dressing, nut filing, string changes, cleaning/conditioning etc.
3. Checking, chipping, marking, scratching, staining, ageing, discoloration and wear of lacquer finishes, including damage caused by guitar straps, guitar stands/hangers made from vinyl, plastic, rubber or other synthetic materials.
4. Damage to finishes or cracking, splitting or warping of wood caused by: changes in temperature and/or humidity, exposure to the sun, fire, liquid, body salts and acids of perspiration.
5. Damage and/or discolouration to finishes caused by improper or unsuitable cleaning routines and/or improper or unsuitable cleaning agents/solvents.
6. Corrosion, rusting or discolouration of any hardware/metal-plated components caused by humidity, liquid, salty air, improper storage or exposure to body salts and acids of perspiration.
7. Any damage resulting from customisation, modification and/or alteration of the original factory specifications.
8. Physical damage (either accidental or deliberate), aging, neglect, improper or lack of maintenance, abuse, mistreatment and excessive string tension.
9. Deterioration due to normal usage that may be considered ordinary ‘wear and tear’, including: fretboard marking/wear, wearing of jacks/sockets, controls, switches, plated surfaces, tuning machines and pickguards, wearing of zippers and casing (gigbag).
10. Any guitar upon which the serial number is missing, altered or tampered with in any way.
11. Any guitar not purchased through an Authorised Orange Dealer.

Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

OMEC are a producer of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) and is therefore obligated under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations. AMENDING YOUR ORDER
In most circumstances it is not possible to make changes to your order once it’s been placed. If your order has already been despatched from the warehouse, you need to return the item following our Returns procedure.

If your order has not left the warehouse, we may be able to change delivery address details, remove items from your order or cancel it completely.

Black Deer Festival Competition Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.

  1. Eligibility: This Campaign is open only to those who sign up at via orangeamps.com and who are 18 years or over as of the date of entry. The Campaign is open to legal U.K. residents and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Orange Music Electronic Co Ltd, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Campaign. The Campaign is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  1. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Orange Music Electronic Co Ltd as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Campaign.
  1. Campaign Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on 29th April 2021 at 0.00 UK time and ending 28th May 2021 at 12.00 UK time.
  1. How to Enter: The Campaign must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided at https://orangeamps.com/articles/black-deer-competition-2021/. The entry must fulfil all Campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Orange Music Electronic Co Ltd.

You may enter only once. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Orange Music Electronic Co Ltd.

  1. Prizes: The Winner of the Competition will receive: 1 x Orange Crush Acoustic Combo, 1 x Orange Crest Edition Headphones, 1 x Orange Acoustic Pedal, Two (2) adult weekend camping tickets to be redeemed only at the Black Deer Festival 25th – 27th June 2021 ,which includes access to the festival arena and general camping area (to bring your own tent / equipment). Does not include car / motorcycle parking pass – this will need to be purchased separately. Current Tier 3 value of an Adult Weekend Camping Ticket is £194.62 each, so for the pair totals a value of £389.24. This promotional competition is restricted to one (1) entry per person, aged 18 years and over, proof of identity and age may be required. It is not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Exchange, re-sale or sale of the two adult camping tickets is strictly prohibited. The winner(s) is (are) responsible for all expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prize. The promoter accepts no responsibility for loss of property/injuries/or accidents that may occur during your visit to the festival, or whilst taking part in any of the activities at the festival between 25th – 27th June 2021.  The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Orange Music Electronic Co Ltd. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Orange Music Electronic Co Ltd discretion. The prize is non-transferable.
