ALL ANALOGUE | TWIN CHANNEL | HUGE TONAL RANGE
SIX DIALS, VIRTUALLY LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES
The TH30 has proven to be one of the most popular heads in the Orange range, and for good reason. With jangly cleans and high-gain filth coexisting in perfect harmony, the sheer range of tones that can be dialed in from just six controls is nothing short of jaw-dropping. A quartet of EL84 valves bring their unique, crisp character and switchable output power can be used to tailor the amp’s natural overdrive to any situation. To top it all off, our low-impedance, valve-buffered effects loop makes sure all your pedals are handled with finesse.

TWIN CHANNEL, HIGH GAIN PREAMP
The Dirty channel features four carefully-crafted stages of gain and the same powerful Shape control first seen on our Thunderverb series. Sweeping the midrange from scooped to boosted, this all-in-one control makes fine-tuning your distorted tones easier than ever before. This channel remains unerringly focussed, steeped in complex harmonic overtones even at maximum gain settings.
The non-master volume Clean channel is a 2-stage design with a 2-band EQ, delivering sweet, crystalline cleans right up to the point of breakup, and classic crunch when pushed over the top. This channel works flawlessly with the EL84 power section to offer a great selection of more vintage tones.
SWITCHABLE OUTPUT POWER
With four EL84 valves and our famously heavy-duty proprietary transformers, the TH30’s punchy and efficient 30 Watt power amp can also be switched down to 15 or 7 Watts (using the 4 Valve/2 Valve switch and Full/Half Power modes). Whether you’re looking for hi-fi, modern tones or cranking out retro crunch, feel and dynamics are always retained – at any volume.
VALVE-BUFFERED EFFECTS LOOP
No modern amp would be complete without a great FX Loop. Our highly-transparent, all-valve design makes sure your signal path gets nothing but the best treatment, no matter how complex your pedal setup.

This amp is a versatile, fully modern beast that delivers everything from rich clean tones to the heaviest metal sounds that any user can dial in instantly.

This 30 watt amp cocktail contains the best of the Dual Terror, Thunderverb and Rockverb.

A fine addition to their product line. With its simple layout and feature set and its flexible voicing, it packs the potential to deliver that classic fat and bright Orange tone, but it also stays punchy and refined without having to be blisteringly loud. And that simplicity makes this perhaps the perfect place to start for a neophyte looking for the classic, brawny Orange sound. It’s easy to see how the TH30 could win over the hearts and ears of players otherwise sold on classic, clean nonmaster-volume circuits and high-gain aficionados seeking a little more flexibility.

There’s more than enough gain on tap to effortlessly coax searing lead tones and willing feedback from the TH30, but the Dirty channel cleans up sweetly for vintage blues and crunch tones as desired. Set to Clean, the TH30 is impressively clear and sparkly, with shed loads of headroom and plenty of classic Brit chime. Around the middle of the Volume dial, the highs can be just a tad harsh on a Tele or Strat bridge pickup, but it’s a great channel overall. Finally, the effects loop is quiet and smooth and works just as it should. All told, the TH30 is a delightful amp to play—and a delightfully simple tool for crafting fierce, dynamic tones.
