Lavoce neodymium speaker

Road-ready birch ply cab

Compact and portable

Classic Orange finish
In More Detail
The OBC112 is designed for modern bassists who want portability without compromising on tone. At its heart is a 400 W Lavoce neodymium speaker, lightweight but powerful, with tight low-end response and plenty of definition across the frequency range. Housed in a 15 mm birch ply cabinet, it’s built to take the knocks of the road while keeping stage weight to a minimum.
The rear ported enclosure adds depth and projection, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles and genres. With an impedance of 8 Ohms, it pairs perfectly with Orange bass heads like the Little Bass Thing and Terror Bass, either on its own or stacked in multiples. And with classic Orange cosmetics — basketweave grille cloth and that unmistakable finish — it looks every bit as good as it sounds. Compact, powerful, and built for real-world use, the OBC112 is a no-nonsense workhorse for serious bass players.
Built for life on the road

The OBC112 is made to handle the realities of gigging. Its 15 mm birch plywood construction keeps things solid but lightweight, while the rear port adds extra projection without sacrificing definition. The compact design means it’s easy to load in and out, whether you're gigging locally or touring further afield. Tough, portable, and reliable, it’s a cab you can trust night after night.
Lavoce neodymium 12" speaker

At the core of the OBC112 is a powerful 400W neodymium speaker made by Lavoce, custom-chosen for its punchy low end, responsive mids and reduced weight. Unlike heavier ceramic drivers, neodymium keeps the cab light enough to carry without compromising sound quality. It’s a serious speaker with the clarity and headroom needed for modern bass tones, from tight funk to driving rock.
Classic Orange styling

Like all Orange speaker cabs, the OBC112 is instantly recognisable. Finished in vivid Orange vinyl with a woven basketweave grille and framed by the iconic picture-frame edging, it delivers heritage looks with workhorse reliability. The design doesn’t just look good — the construction choices and ported enclosure also serve the sound.
