In More Detail
The Crush 20 takes the no-nonsense attitude of the Crush 12 and turns everything up a notch, including the volume. With 20 Watts of solid analogue power and two footswitchable channels, it’s the perfect step-up amp for players who want more flexibility without getting lost in tech. The Clean channel stays crisp and articulate, even at higher volumes, while the Dirty channel delivers classic Orange gain: thick, gritty and full of attitude.
Both channels share a three-band EQ, giving you simple, familiar tone shaping to find your sweet spot. For silent practice, the headphone output features our CabSim circuit, emulating the sound of a mic’d Orange 4×12 cabinet for a studio-quality sound straight to your headphones or interface, and an aux-in socket will have you playing along to your favourite tunes. Small enough for your bedroom but powerful enough for the rehearsal room, the Crush 20 proves that analogue simplicity and rich, responsive tone will never go out of style.

All-analogue signal path

Unlike many practice amps in this price range, the Crush 12 is fully analogue from input to output. That means a more natural response, better dynamics and a sound that feels alive under your fingers. Whether you’re playing clean or pushing it into overdrive, the tone stays rich, responsive and warm, just like a classic amp should. It’s simple, immediate, and a world away from the cold, sterile sound of digital modelling.
CabSim headphone output

The Crush 12 features our CabSim-loaded headphone output, an analogue circuit that emulates the sound of a 4×12 cab carrying our Voice of the World speakers. Whether you’re practising silently at home or making a record in your bedroom studio, you’ll still get the depth, power and character of a real-life speaker stack through the headphone-out socket. It’s a proper tone, with no digital compromise, and it means you can play any time, day or night.
Twin-channel, high-gain

With two independent channels, Clean and Dirty, the Crush 20 lets you switch between sparkling cleans and saturated distortion at the tap of a foot. It’s perfect for players who want to move between rhythm and lead sounds on the fly, without compromising on tone. The Clean channel offers clarity and headroom, while the Dirty channel provides classic Orange crunch and sustain, from vintage grit to modern grind.
