A DREAM PC BUILT BY MUSICIANS

Computers (notably PC’s), have a reputation for being bundled with anti-virus trials and other trial software which together slow down the computer and tend to result in being annoying as they generate endless pop-up balloons, slowdowns and always try to entice you into paying for the full version software. They’ve also got into a trend of looking similar: a shiny plastic case, a rectangular box that features a design that gets outdated. We have a lot of respect for companies out there that break the mould but we wanted to go further and create a computer with a heavier emphasis on music, uncompromising quality and built to last for years.

Everything in the Orange OPC is selected to be efficient and configured to last. Even the highest specification OPC rarely take up more than 170 Watts under full load yet we’ve included an 80 PLUS (more than 80% efficient) 400W power supply to allow for a long operating life, a Gigabyte motherboard that uses twice as much copper than your average motherboard and internal rubber mounting to reduce noise and stress to internal components.

The OPC is a personal computer built from the ground up for musicians. The OPC allows musicians to create record and share their music. It’s designed to replace your desktop tower at home but it’s not just an amplifier and it’s not just a computer. The OPC is a new breed of its own. We’ve worked with technology innovators Intel, Gigabyte and FSP to ensure the OPC is a powerhouse that has all the speed, connectivity and sound options you’ll need in your PC.

COMPATIBLE AND OPTIMISED

The Orange OPC works with current devices and software you may already own. VGI/HDMI/DVI outputs ensure there are plenty of connectivity options for video and PCI-E x16 means you’re free to add anything you feel like you’ld be missing on your home computer… add Firewire, Dedicated Gaming Graphics, etc. We’ve kept Windows clean and optimised for the best audio experience. If that wasn’t enough, we make use of our native OPC audio to bypass the Windows audio driver to deliver low latencies meaning there’s less code and time between what you play and what you hear back. In fact, the lowest latency on the OPC measures below 1ms. That’s instant.

PREMIUM SOFTWARE

We supply the Orange OPC with a set of software we feel every musician should own (we don’t mean trial-ware or bulky software known to slow your system down). This is high-end software used by world class recording studios – all configured and optimised for your system by us. This means that when you want to sit down and record your ideas, there’s nothing stopping you from making a number one record (we’ve included the exclusive LickLibrary Guitar Centre Software to help out if needed).
