Orange Global (2010)

Orange’s global growth includes UK innovation, Chinese and Korean manufacturing, and USA expansion, all delivering worldwide quality and cutting-edge amp design.

In 2009, Orange moved its headquarters to a much larger facility and office complex in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

This is home to the Orange Custom Shop, where we pioneered and developed the Tiny Terror amplifier and the innovative isobaric bass cabinet design. The site also includes a dedicated transformer department, focused on waveforms and sound propagation research.

The OPC, our personal computer for musicians, was developed here too, from early-stage R&D through to production.

Orange China

The decision to move some production to mainland China in 2006 proved to be exactly the right move, especially highlighted by the huge success of the Crush and Tiny Terror ranges.

It confirmed that, with strict quality control and strong product management, both solid-state and valve amps can be built in China to an exceptional standard.

In late 2010, Orange made a major investment in a new office and manufacturing facility in Jiashan, Zhejiang Province, near Shanghai. Alongside regular visits from the UK team, many of our international staff are multilingual and stay connected to each other online.

Orange USA

Orange USA has grown into a major part of the business over the last 10 years and plays a key role in our global operations.

Some high-quality Orange products are now manufactured in the US, and we have a team of bright, dedicated people committed to driving the company forward.
