Orange launched the Tiny Terror, AD5, and PPC212OB to deliver pro sound in portable combos with Celestion speakers and vintage tone.

Ade Emsley, Orange Technical Director, introduces a series of big sounds in small packages: “The Tiny Terror combo follows a similar design philosophy to the classic OR80 combo, with the full front panel visible on top of the cabinet. It’s fitted with a 12" Celestion G12H-30 speaker and shares its dimensions with the AD15/12. Compact and powerful, it’s a no-nonsense solution for players who want portability without compromising tone.”

“Then there’s the PPC212OB speaker cabinet. Designed to give that combo-style feel, this open-back 2×12 cabinet houses a pair of Celestion Vintage 30s. It’s the same size as our AD30 and Rockerverb 50 combos, making it ideal for players after a matching, portable cab with open-back dynamics.”

Reimagining a Custom Classic

“The third edition of the AD5 takes its cues from the original 1999 Custom Shop model but swaps hand wiring for a high-quality PCB. We fitted it with a specially developed 10" Celestion speaker, the Celestion 40, which closely resembles the Greenback 10. After testing every possible option, it came out on top for tone and feel.”
