“Orange Amps have become an integral part of my sound both live and in studio. The bottom end, grit and response playing an Orange, and the power with which it is delivered is pretty much unrivalled against any other amp I have tried over my 10 years as a musician. You can physically feel what you’re playing, and what effects you’re applying, plus it’s got such a meaty bite to it. I’ve managed to get the exact sound I was after – bitey, meaty, creamy and like a punch in the chest. Sounds great with or without effects pedals but is also great running synths and drum machines through, as we often do with Vuvuvultures. We even tracked a Theremin through there! I first saw Orange when watching videos of some of my favourite bands of the 60’s and 70’s, like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath and they still have something of that classic sound to them which I love.”
